Trying to keep up with the Outlander Book Club isn’t always easy. Life gets in the way. If you’ve fallen behind on the Voyager posts, don’t worry about it!

We’ve put together the full list of chapters. This list will be updated every Saturday with the most recent five posts covered, making it easy to find where you are or to look back on a specific chapter when you reread the book for whatever millionth time it is.

Starting with the separation

Voyager starts with Claire and Jamie living in two different times. For Jamie, it’s a matter of survival. We pick up with him on the battlefield after Culloden has ended. He did fail to die on the battlefield, but not through lack of trying. He even fights to be executed for treason, but there’s a certain lord who decides Jamie needs to be sent home to Lallybroch.

After that, we see how he survives. There’s a chance to see what he sacrifices to keep people safe, all eventually leading up to Claire returning.

Of course, he has no idea Claire is even thinking about returning. She’s in 1968 researching where Jamie is. For 20 years, she’s been sure that he died on the battlefield at Culloden, and she was angry that she didn’t get to join him.

During the book, we get a chance to learn what she did in the 20 years, including how she became a doctor. We see the relationship between her and Brianna mend before she makes the decision to go back through the stones and rejoin Jamie.
