Geneva gives birth in Outlander Book 3, Chapter 15

We jump to January 1758 in Outlander Book 3, Chapter 15. Geneva has married Lord Ellesmere and is pregnant, but this child could be Jamie’s. It’s time to break down the chapter.

While the previous chapter is one of the most debated, this chapter gives us the next part of the story. It’s the part that connects to where Jamie will go next; how he gets back to his family. There is no way the series could avoid the chapter, but it was adapted slightly for the sake of settings, casting, and timing.

Despite the adaptation, nothing important was missed. We still got the heartbreak for the Dunsany family and Jamie’s immediate need to protect his son.

The chapter is one that sees the birth of young Willie. We eventually find out he is Jamie’s son. There is absolutely no debating it when Willie starts to grow up, but I’m getting ahead of myself there.

While an important chapter, it is on the shorter side for Voyager. It comes in at about 33 minutes, and the next two chapters are even shorter than that. Yet, it is essential in the overall story.

It’s time to break down Voyager Chapter 15. Are you ready?
