Outlander Season 4: Leaked pictures show fiery event will happen
More photos of Outlander Season 4 filming have been shared. It appears the series is going to heat up without Claire and Jamie getting steamy on camera.
I will warn you all now that there are some major spoilers from “Drums of Autumn” and beyond in this post. If you want to remain completely surprised by Outlander Season 4, this is not the post for you. I’ll share a post later today about the images with some clues and no major spoilers, I promise!
For those who have read the books or are purposely looking for spoilers, it’s time to get into these Outlander Season 4 leaked pictures. There was a filming notice put out earlier this week hinting that controlled fire and equipment would be used for filming on April 18 and April 21. It looks like they weren’t lying, as one of the leaked images is of a house on fire.

This appears to be Claire and Jamie’s home and the even that is the catalyst for Brianna Randall Fraser stepping through the stones. The only reason she decides to travel to the past is to save her parents. She learns that they died in a house fire, but wants to stop that from coming true. That trip to the past leads to her meeting Stephen Bonnet and her father, Jamie Fraser. One of those meetings is good, and I’m sure you can tell which one it will be!
However, it’s not until a later book that the house fire takes place. Brianna and Roger learn the house fire is in 1776, and “Drums of Autumn” only take us to 1770. Is it possible that Outlander Season 4 is bringing this event forward in time? Could it be possible that this is another house fire entirely?
Ron D. Moore did admit that there would be some changes the timeline in “Drums of Autumn.” While the events would be similar and fans of the books would recognize them, the way the season is set up will be different. This could be one of those instances where the timeline is thrown off, making Brianna’s trip through the stones more urgent than it technically is in the books.
