If the Heard on Set segment wasn’t enough to convince you Outlander Season 4 was at that monumental meeting scene, this photo of Sophie Skelton and Sam Heughan together will be.

Outlander Season 4 filming is making headway and last week they were up to an important scene. Maril Davis’ Heard on Set segment gave a hint to all book fans that filming was at the most highly anticipated scene of the series. That may not have been enough for many fans, but now an on-location photo has given the game away.

Just in case you need the warning, there are spoilers from “Drums of Autumn.” And I’m talking major spoilers!

More from Spoilers

The on-location photo of Heughan and Skelton doesn’t give a lot away in terms of dress, but it’s important for filming purposes. The only reason these two would need to be together on set is if they had scenes together. And the only way that could happen is if one of them travel to the other’s time.

Even if you don’t know the storyline for “Drums of Autumn,” you’ll be able to guess the one doing the time traveling. Not only have we already spotted photo leaks of Skelton in period dress, but we know Jamie isn’t able to time travel. That means Brianna travels to Jamie.

SophieSkeltonGroup on Twitter shared the on-location shot with a snippet from the novel, “Drums of Autumn:”

"And suddenly it was all simple. He held out his arms to her. She stepped into them and found that she had been wrong; he was as big as she’d imagined—and his arms were as strong about her as she had ever dared to hope."

This is taken from Chapter 41 and is the moment the two finally meet.

There are so many moments that fans are excited about, but this is the biggest. It’s the print shop scene of Outlander Season 4 and will hopefully meet expectations. Some fans want to see it exactly like the book, but considering the timing of the filming, it may have been adapted to fit time constraints and timeline changes Ron D. Moore warned us about last year.

At least we know that it is definitely happening and it hopefully won’t be too long before we see the season finally play out.
