Outlander Season 4 filming is officially up to the most talked about moment of the season. Well, that’s the inclination based on Maril Davis’ latest Heard on Set quote.

Outlander producer Maril Davis offers a Heard on Set segment on Twitter. She shares lines that have been uttered on the set, giving us an idea of the point they’re at in filming. The latest one tells us that Outlander Season 4 filming is up to the most talked about moment for the whole season.

Caution: There are spoilers from “Drums of Autumn” in this.

We should all now know that Brianna travels through time. After all, Sophie Skelton was spotted dressed in period costume for Outlander Season 4 filming. It’s also no secret that Brianna and Jamie eventually finally get to meet.

More from Spoilers

That’s the point of filming the production is onto now. Maril Davis’ tweet gives that away.

The line that was mentioned in the Heard on Set segments, “sorry lass, I’m a marrit man,” is directly from the book. Jamie says it to Brianna, not realizing that she’s his daughter. Fortunately, Brianna doesn’t get too weirded out at the comment and, instead, explains who she is and why she’s there.

This is a meeting that many fans want to see play out on screen. Think of it as the print shop scene of Outlander Season 4.

The filming point tells us about positioning

One thing to take from the filming point is the positioning of this scene. Unless the production has completely taken things out of order to film, this is a sign that Jamie and Brianna’s meeting point doesn’t happen until the second half of the season. After all, Outlander Season 4 filming is already over the halfway mark.

Showrunner Ron D. Moore did say that the storyline would be out of order compared to “Drums of Autumn.” While the storyline would be overall similar, fans would find elements out of the book’s timeline. It looks like this is one of those moments.

Many fans cheered on Twitter as they saw the Heard on Set segment. They know exactly what it means and don’t seem to mind that it seems so late in the filming process. One fan made a point that there are now many exciting things to come from this point onward.
