Where in Outlander Season 5 is filming at? Sam Heughan gives us a tease of an update, with a throwback post to Season 4 promotion.
This time last year, we were getting ready for Outlander Season 4 to premiere. While we’re waiting longer for Season 5, Sam Heughan is trying to keep us entertained. He’s making Droughtlander as easy as possible for us.
In the recent update on Instagram, he gave us a throwback to the promotion for Season 4. It was accompanied with a small update on the Season 5 filming. He shares that there are about two weeks to go on filming.

This joins in something Cesar Domboy was saying during Sasnak City. Domboy mentioned Nov. 17, although he did say that he couldn’t be certain that was the exact date. It was just the one that came to mind when asked about filming. Two weeks from Nov. 1 (when Heughan posted the update) would take us to Nov. 15, which fits the timeframe.
It looks like production has been on schedule from start to finish. There’s no need to worry that STARZ will need to change the premiere date of the fifth season due to filming overrunning, despite some reshoots needed for usually planned reasons.
Sadly, the update from Heughan doesn’t give us too much to go on. He just tells us how much is left with the throwback to Season 4. Don’t you just want the fifth season to premiere already? Or maybe just something official, like casting, being shared? That would be great!
