We would love to keep watching Men in Kilts. Sadly, the second season has come to an end. We’re still waiting on the news about a third season, but it could be a while before that happens. There is a chance that this series will be caught up in the strike delays as Sam and Graham stand in solidarity with the actors.

So, instead of looking at the future of the show, we’re looking at whether we could own this series on DVD and Blu-ray. Will Men in Kilts Season 2 get a physical release? What about a Digital one?

Men in Kilts Season 2 may not come to DVD and Blu-ray

Most STARZ shows do get released on DVD and Blu-ray. While there is a subscription element to the network, it is still a premium cable network at heart. We see the likes of Outlander and Power get DVD releases.

That’s not the case this time, though. We likely won’t see Men in Kilts Season 2 come to DVD and Blu-ray in the future. The first season hasn’t received that sort of release yet.

Why would that be? It will all come down to the contracts in place when the show was picked up. There’s a chance that STARZ managed to ensure this would remain exclusive to its platform. This keeps people on the platform if they want to watch it. STARZ is a business at the heart of things, and it will want to turn a profit.

We also haven’t seen the first season released on Digital. That suggests we won’t see the second season released that way, either.
