Could there be a screening of the Outlander Season 4 premiere at NYCC?
The Outlander panel at NYCC is just days away. It’s time to look at what we could see and learn while there. Is it possible there will be a screening of the Outlander Season 4 premiere?
Outlander is heading to NYCC. This is the first time the stars of the show will take to the stage at the event, but not a first for showrunner Ron D. Moore. He was there back in 2013 with author Diana Gabaldon to promote the new show. Since then, they’ve mostly been at SDCC.So, it’s exciting to see everyone this upcoming weekend.
The panel will take place at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night. One of the big questions about the events for the night is whether there will be a screening of the Outlander Season 4 premiere. No details have been revealed, but the timing of the panel suggests its a possibility.

This year’s panel is 90 minutes long. That’s enough time to do a screening and then have 30 minutes or so of questions and discussions. Most panels without screenings (or with 40-minute episodes) tend to have a 1-hour panel instead. Other panels that are longer that weekend have screenings, further supporting the idea that this one will too.
The Hulu Theater is also a good place for screenings. Why put something in such a large space if they’re not going to show something big for the 90-minute panel?
I’ve suspected that there would be a screening of the episode from the moment the panel was announced. As we get closer, I’m even more certain.
