Outlander will be at PaleyFest 2018: Will there be a Season 4 premiere screening?
Next month isn’t just about New York Comic-Con. Outlander will also be at PaleyFest 2018. Will this be another chance for a screening?
October is all about promotion for Outlander. The biggest event is New York Comic-Con, which will see Ron D. Moore, Maril Davis, Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, and Richard Rankin take to the stage. But that’s not the only event. You can also see the series cast and EPs at PaleyFest 2018.
It’s not entirely clear who will be at the panel, but the date could be a clue. It’s on Friday, Oct. 5 starting at 7 p.m. ET. This is the day before the panel at New York Comic-Con, so there’s a good chance that everyone involved at the NYCC panel will be at the PaleyFest one.
At the time of writing this, it’s still possible to get tickets for the second theater, which is a screen to the main theater. However, as the tickets are $10 and this is Outlander, I expect them to be sold out very soon.

Without knowing who will be there and how long the panel will be, it’s difficult to say what is going to happen. However, we could hazard a guess and there may be an exclusive screening of the Season 4 premiere.
The last time the series was at any of the PaleyFests was in 2015 in L.A. That was in the middle of Outlander Season 1, just before the second half of the season aired. STARZ offered a screening of Episode 9 for everyone there, so there’s certainly precedent for this.
With New York Comic-Con the next day, there’s argument that the screening will be left for then. The NYCC panel is one hour, 30 minutes long, which is enough time for a screening and then a panel afterward. Would STARZ want to put on two screenings within the space of 24 hours of each other? PaleyFest could just be a good chance for the stars to chat about what’s to come.
Whatever happens, it will be good promotion for Outlander Season 4. There will certainly be a lot of excited fans attending both PaleyFest NY and NYCC.
