If you’re a fan of Brianna and Roger, there’s some good news for Outlander Season 4. The duo confirmed at LandCon2 that they would get more onscreen time together.

Brianna and Roger met at the end of Outlander Season 2. Since then, many have wanted to see them together. Knowing what happens in the books only makes people want to see more of the two together onscreen. The great news for those who are Brianna and Roger fans is that Outlander Season 4 will see the together onscreen more.

There are spoilers from “Drums of Autumn” in this post.

While attending LandCon2 in Paris this weekend, Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin had a panel together. They confirmed that there was more onscreen time for Brianna and Roger, which wouldn’t be a surprise for those who have read the books. Of course, with the way the books go and the way the show has to adapt the books, it’s a pleasant confirmation. Many may have worried that some of the time together would have been written out.

More from Spoilers

Brianna and Roger are in the 1960s together. Claire left her only daughter behind to be with Jamie, effectively leaving Brianna an orphan. Of course, Joe Abernathy would have been around, but it’s not quite the same. Roger would certainly know what it’s like to be an adult orphan and also knows exactly where Claire has gone–we never saw Joe learn the truth in the series, so he may not know the truth in Outlander Season 4.

Ups and downs to come in Outlander Season 4

There’s no doubt that this fourth season is going to have a number of ups and downs for the couple. They will both travel through the stones but at separate times in their own timeline. They’ll separate, join together again, separate again, and eventually find their way back to one another. However, it’s definitely not going to be easy and not all of it will be happy for either of them.

Hearing that they have more onscreen time together sounds positive. Maybe the period of separation isn’t quite going to be as long as it was in the novels due to the time constraints in filming.
