Why isn’t Outlander on Netflix US?

There are certain parts of the world where Outlander drops on Netflix the day after a new episode. These are parts of the world where the show doesn’t air on a network. Then there are other parts of the world where the show drops on Netflix in full after the season has aired. U.S. fans what to know whether we’ll ever see Outlander on Netflix U.S.

The truth is, we’ll likely never see Outlander on Netflix U.S. The series is available for streaming through the Starz app in the United States. Other parts of the world don’t have access to Starz, so Sony will want to make it available to them in other ways. There’s no need for Sony to arrange for a deal with another platform.
It’s disappointing, but this isn’t really going to change. Starz will want an exclusive access to the content where it can. Since Starz is coming to Canada, Canadian fans may find the show is removed from Netflix very soon in favor of exclusively being available through the Starz app.
How to access Starz
There are multiple ways to get access to Starz in the U.S. One of those is directly through the company. It’s a monthly subscription, around the cost of the monthly subscription to Netflix. You don’t just get access to Outlander, but all of the Starz content, including the likes of The White Princess and the hit Counterpoint.
You can also get access through Hulu and Amazon. You’ll need to pay extra to get the Starz channel, but you’ll still get access to everything else the two services offer. Amazon Prime Video is an excellent choice if you like to gain access to multiple shows and the Amazon exclusive content like The Man in the High Castle.
While we will never likely see Outlander on Netflix U.S., there are options to watch it continuously.
