After the horrors at the Beardsley house, we head to Brownsville in Outlander Season 5, Episode 4. Here’s a look at the synopsis for the episode.
Claire and Jamie certainly saw their fair share of horror at the Beardsley house in the previous episode. In Outlander Season 5, Episode 4, we turn our attention to Brownsville. What possible trouble could everyone get into here?
We have the synopsis to get an idea of what to expect in the fourth episode. Roger is leading the men to Brownsville, which is a rural trading post and isn’t going to be one of those towns they walk into and have no problems at all. Sadly, Roger is going to have to figure out what to do.

Those who have read the book and enjoyed how Roger dealt with the situation may be disappointed with the way the show has changed the storyline. It’s just a word of warning. However, I will say that show Roger is not the same as book Roger. We’ve seen that a lot this season, and Roger’s storyline does fit with the character we’ve already come to know on the series.
Roger has an unusual strategy to deal with the Browns. It’s one that could cost Jamie some men. Will he be able to get them back?
Meanwhile, Claire learns that her medical advice is spreading further than she wanted. You just had to know that it would come back to bite her considering Fergus picked up a sheet without even looking at what was written on the other side. Oops!
