Sam Heughan launches the Sassenach Tartan, coming this week
Sam Heughan is certainly a busy man. As Outlander Season 5 filming wraps, he’s launching the Sassenach Tartan. Here are all the details.
Things are extremely busy for Sam Heughan right now. The Outlander actor will be wrapping up filming for the fifth season, but he also has some new business ventures happening. And we’re not talking about the Clan Lands Podcast-Turned-Show. The actor has just shared that he’s bringing Sassenach Tartan, and it’s arriving this week.
Through an Instagram update, Heughan announced that Sassenach Tartan is being launched in conjunction with Vixy Rae’s The Secret Life of Tartan. The book is now available, but the tartan will take a few extra days. It’s coming on Nov. 20, so not too long to wait!

The Sassenach Tartan is a unique tartan that’s designed in collaboration with Prickly Thistle Scotland. This also has a little Sam Heughan mixed in. The thread count incorporates his date of birth, according to The Scottish Sun.
It looks absolutely beautiful, but it’s not clear what type of items you’ll be able to get in it just yet. The scarf that Heughan is modeling in the Instagram pic is certainly great, though! I’m going to be signed up for that immediately.
