5 positive things to take from the Outlander Fraser family photo

There are many complaints about particular aspects fo the Outlander Fraser family promo photo. Rather than focusing on the negatives, it’s time to focus on the great things to come from it. Here are five positive things to take from the Outlander Season 5 promo photo.

There’s an Outlander Season 5 promo photo doing the works. If you haven’t seen it yet, quickly scroll down to take a look before reading on. It’s a Fraser family photo (although does admittedly miss out Fergus and Marsali) at Fraser’s Ridge.

While there are plenty of negative comments about it, ranging from the Photoshopping of the actors to Jamie standing so far away from Claire, Brianna, and Roger, there’s so much good to take from this photo.

It’s time to focus on the positives. After all, why should the producers even show that they’re listening to us if all fans do is complain about every little thing?

1. The babies like Sam Heughan: Fans were understandably upset that Jamie didn’t hold his grandson in the Outlander Season 4 finale. That wasn’t a production choice but an actor choice. The baby didn’t take to Sam Heughan. Well, this photo shows that these babies (there are twins playing Jemmy due to child labor laws) like Heughan so expect Jamie to hold his grandson on screen.

2. Roger is all cleaned up: There are going to be tensions during Outlander Season 5 and you sort of get that with Roger and Jamie sandwiching the two women, but at least Roger is now all cleaned up. He’s going to be thrown into 18th century living in clothing that actually fits and has been washed! Oh, and he’s clean shaven.

3. The wigs are awesome: There are a few changes to the wigs this year. We’d already noticed Jamie’s new wig in a previous Outlander Season 5 promo photo but that’s not the only one that looks good. Claire’s and Brianna’s look just right for life on Fraser’s Ridge.

4. They’re ready for frontier life: We saw a change in the outfits Claire and Jamie wore once they got to Fraser’s Ridge. Brianna also stepped into Frontier clothing. All four Frasers are embracing this life and it’s exciting to see the development.

5. They’re trying to be a family: It’s not going to be easy for them. Roger is going to hold a grudge against Jamie while Jamie will still likely be angry at the whole situation, especially losing Young Ian. However, it’s clear from this photo that everyone is trying to be a family. They’re ready for what life throws at them.
