STARZ shares first official photo from Outlander Season 5 set
Outlander Season 5 filming has started. STARZ now has the first official photo from the set.
If you’re still struggling to get through Droughtlander, STARZ is offering some help. Outlander Season 5 filming officially started last week and we now have a photo from the cable network.
For the Claire and Jamie fans out there, it’s all about them. And yes, they look just as happy as ever. Clearly, the New World is finally treating them well after the ordeal of getting Roger back from the Mohawks.

There’s one thing that fans are immediately talking about though. It’s all about Jamie’s hair. There have been a lot of complaints about the wigs over recent years. It started mostly in the third season, as the production moved from Sam Heughan dying his hair to preferring to keep it blond and short. So, now the production needs wigs.
It looks like the complaints about the bad styling have been taken on board. While it’s tied back, there are no bangs, which was a common question since there were no bangs on the wig used when Jamie’s hair isn’t tied back.

This is hopefully the first of many shots from the Outlander Season 5 set. While it gives absolutely nothing away in terms of plot, it does suggest that we’re starting the season at Fraser’s Ridge. This will be a change from “The Fiery Cross,” suggesting that some of the content missed from “Drums of Autumn’s” ending will be covered in the first episode of the season.
Now can we have more photos? One of Roger and Brianna would be great. Also, maybe Fergus and Marsali, Murtagh, Jocasta, and…okay, maybe I’m asking a little too much there.
