Outlander Book 9 Daily Lines: Views about Claire will never change
The world will always have a view about Claire Fraser. The most recent Daily Lines for Outlander Book 9 prove that’s the case.
While there are many things that have changed over the course of the last eight novels, there are some things that never will. The latest Daily Lines from Outlander Book 9 prove that opinions about Claire in the 18th century will always remain the same.
If you don’t want any spoilers at all, you’ll want to leave this page. The Daily Lines are from “Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone,” shared by Diana Gabaldon. While she doesn’t spoil, she does tease and there may be minor spoilers for those who aren’t caught up with the books.
More from Spoilers
- Did Bree and Lord John Grey marry in Outlander?
- Outlander Season 7B: Will Diarmaid Murtagh return as Buck MacKenzie?
- Outlander Season 7B: Will Chris Fulton return as Rob Cameron?
- Will Dottie be in Outlander Season 7B?
- 3 characters who definitely won’t return in Outlander Season 7B
With that spoiler warning done, it’s time to break down the recent Daily Lines. Claire is talking to Fanny, and it’s a serious discussion. Fanny hasn’t had an easy life and sometimes you just need someone to talk to. But who should you talk to about things?
Claire shares her opinions on the matter. And they’re reasonable opinions. In the novels, she’s understood how people believe certain superstitions and, what she’d consider, nonsense. Because most people have never really left their backyard, they haven’t gained a knowledge of the world. Sure, some have come across from Scotland, but they kept hold of the superstitions they had there and brought them to the New World.
The conversation moves onto the way the people view Claire. It’s not surprising that some of the people think of her as a witch. The opinions about Claire have never changed. No matter how much she does to help heal the sick and mend broken bones and injuries, she will always be viewed with suspicion.
