During the filming of Outlander Season 4, Maril Davis shared her Heard on Set snippets. One of those wasn’t in the show, so will it be a deleted scene?

Maril Davis shared some Heard on Set snippets throughout the filming of Outlander Season 4. One of those was in the final days of filming but the line didn’t end up in the show. Is it possible that it will be one of the deleted scenes?

“Move your guns or I’ll shove them up your…” was the line that Davis wrote and fans immediately took to Twitter to try and guess who would say it. This was a line not in the books, which made many fans wonder whether it would be Murtagh’s line. While we knew Murtagh would return, we didn’t know how and there was the wonder whether Murtagh would show up at the end as a potential threat and introduce himself with this line.

More from Opinion

Now that we’ve had a chance to see how the season played out, it’s time to figure out what this line was actually meant to be for. There is the chance that it was Jamie’s line and he was talking to the Redcoats who had come to deliver the letter with the order to form the militia. Another option would be Claire, who may have felt threatened or may have been stopped from getting past the Redcoats to see the letter.

Hopefully, this is one of those scenes that ends up being a deleted scene on the Season 4 DVD and Blu-ray. It’s certainly a line that I’d like some closure on because right now, it’s not clear just who said it.

While Maril Davis and Toni Graphia mentioned the four bonus scenes would be of the side characters, that doesn’t mean there won’t be anything of our favorite couple. If this is one of their lines, I’d like to see how it played out and why it was deleted in the end.
