Outlander Season 4 DVD and Blu-ray coming in May 2019
The Outlander EPs took to Entertainment Weekly live to share an exciting announcement. That announcement was the release of Outlander Season 4 on DVD and Blu-ray in May 2019.
Entertainment Weekly hosted a live stream with the Outlander EPs on Feb. 13. It was a chance for the EPs to answer a few questions and share an “exciting announcement.” Of course, fans were most interested in the announcement, which came at the end of the 30-minute live stream, and that was the release of the Outlander Season 4 DVD and Blu-ray.
When I tried to work out the release date, I’d looked at the timeline of the Season 3 release date. It turns out that the production is working with a shorter timeframe this year, possibly because of the longer Droughtlander that we’ll likely get. The Outlander Season 4 DVD and Blu-ray will be out on May 28, 2019, and you can already pre-order.

As well as the DVD and Blu-ray release, EP Maril Davis shared the Digital release date. You’ll be able to buy the digital version the day before, so on May 27. This is great for those who don’t want to sign up to STARZ throughout the year just to watch one show but still want to be able to watch the show on the go.
There will be four bonus scenes on the DVD release, featuring some of the side characters. During the airing of the episodes, one of the scenes fans hoped for was the deleted scene of Roger trying to go through the stones and failing the first time. This may be one of the four scenes included on the DVD and Blu-ray. There will also be scenes involving Fergus, Marsali, and Lord John Grey.
