Why will Brianna travel through the stones in Outlander Season 4? [Spoilers]
We know Brianna Randall Fraser is going to head through the stones in Outlander Season 4. Many fans want the spoilers as to why that happens and here’s a look.
In Outlander Season 4, we will see Brianna Randall Fraser head through the stones at Craig na Dun. This isn’t really a spoiler when the costume has been shown on social media and Sophia Skelton and Caitriona Balfe have both discussed the things to come in the season. However, what some fans don’t know is why she would travel back in time.
We know that Claire isn’t going to be happy. Well, she is, but she isn’t at the same time. Brianna is safer in the 1960s/1970s than in the 18th century. This fact is quickly proven when Brianna sets sail to her parents. However, it’s only if you read the spoilers or have read the books that you’ll know what gives Brianna the idea to travel back in time anyway. After all, isn’t she happy in her own time with Roger and her rights and freedoms?
It starts with a newspaper clipping

We can’t think for a second that Brianna will just leave her parents behind, can we? As a historian, she’s going to keep her eye on the books and research papers. She’ll want to find out what happens to her parents, such as how they’re living their lives and what they’re doing. Of course, she’ll have to follow where they go after Claire initially goes to Edinburgh to find Jamie.
And this is where Brianna’s journey starts. She comes across a clipping of a house fire. It’s all about Claire and Jamie and how they perish. Knowing when this happens, Brianna has the chance to warn them of the fire to save their lives. She can’t just sit back and allow her parents to die before their time. Of course it’s a risk, but it’s a risk many of us would take to save our parents.
This is more than just wanting to meet her dad and find out more about her heritage. Brianna wants to make sure her parents are safe, even if that means putting herself at risk.
This is, of course, what happens in “Drums of Autumn.” We could see something play out slightly differently in Outlander Season 4, but I wouldn’t imagine too differently.
