Cesar Domboy finished filming Outlander Season 4: What this means for Fergus
Cesar Domboy has already finished filming Outlander Season 4. With 10 days left of filming, what does this mean for Fergus and Marsali?
While Outlander Season 4 may still have 10 days of filming left, not all the cast members are needed. That’s the case for Cesar Domboy, who plays Fergus on the series. He has already wrapped filming and is currently back in France. He shares that’s it until February, when they’re back to film Outlander Season 5.
What exactly does this mean for Fergus? And what about Marsali? Well, let’s get one thing straight: Domboy is returning, which means Fergus isn’t going anywhere permanently.
For those who haven’t read the novels yet, there are some minor spoilers in this for “Drums of Autumn.” This is just a warning for those who want to go into Outlander Season 4 with no idea of the drama to unfold.
Will Fergus make it to the end of the season?

With Domboy already finished filming and Outlander Season 4 still with another 10 days of production, it does mean that Fergus (and possibly Marsali) isn’t likely in the season finale. Sure, filming for his parts could have happened at another time to allow for his schedule, but there are high chances that he’s not going to be in it.
It’s hard to tell how much of the fourth season will stick to “Drums of Autumn” for Fergus. After all, the start of the season is going to be different since Fergus and Marsali had remained in Jamaica at the end of “Voyager.”
Chances are that Fergus isn’t needed for the final moments of the fourth season. This could be just about Claire, Jamie, Brianna, and Roger. Sophie Skelton already shared that they’d been on the finale read-through, so it’s not likely that the filming has been completely out of order.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see just the core cast in the final moments. This has been the way previous seasons worked.
