If you’re worried about getting through the next seven months of no Outlander filming, LaughOutlander has you covered with a fun (although somewhat questionable legally) way.

The next Droughtlander could be long. There’s going to be a seven-month filming break from the series when the current season wraps up next month. That means no spoilers and little in the way of casting news. However, LaughOutlander has your back, along with a way to continue getting through the current Droughtlander.

The method is certainly ingenious and fun, but there are also some questions about the legality. Even Jamie Fraser is a little concerned. I’d certainly take the third option on the list, even if it isn’t legal. Who wouldn’t want their very own Sam Heughan? Well, I’d take it if the clone came out the exact size, shape, and age as the current one. No babies in the house, please!

More from Opinion

There is certainly a serious subject in the meme and it’s all about #5. LaughOutlander suggests supporting the other projects the cast members have going on and that really is important. While we want our Outlander cast members to be available for conventions and continue with the show, we also want them to have successful careers outside of the time-traveling love story.

Three projects have been included in the tweet, including Heughan’s upcoming movie The Spy Who Dumped Me, but there are many more. For example, Steven Cree has Outlaw King coming up (it also features Duncan Lacroix), which focuses on Robert the Bruce, and Tobias Menzies will be in The Crown, which starts filming this summer.
