During his interview on ITV’s This Morning, Sam Heughan shared his second upcoming marathon. It’s happening in two weeks and it doesn’t sound like he’s had much time to train lately.
Sam Heughan has been a busy boy. So busy that it sounds like he hasn’t had much time to train for his upcoming marathon. He shared an update during his interview on ITV’s This Morning on May 15.
Wait, didn’t he just do a marathon? Yes, he took part in the Stirling Marathon at the end of April, but now he has a second coming up. His Peak Challenge was to do two marathons in the space of two months and this second one is the Edinburgh marathon on May 27. The challenge is to raise money for Cahonas Scotland to get rid of the stigma around male cancers.

However, his filming schedule has been busy lately. He’s also had interviews and an appearance at the BAFTAs, where there were some photos of the late-night partying with his friends. Everyone’s allowed a night off, though, right? It looks like his busy schedule has gotten in the way of training for this upcoming marathon, so he’s not sure if he’ll be able to beat his personal best that he set during the Stirling marathon.
There is two weeks left. That should be time to get some miles behind him. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Peak Challenge if it was easy!
Here at Claire and Jamie, we’re wishing you all the best, Sam!
