Jamie gives [Spoiler] a beautiful compliment in Bees Daily Lines
Diana Gabaldon’s Daily Lines from Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone included a beautiful moment between father and daughter.
For those who haven’t read all the books, this post will contain spoilers. They’re likely spoilers you’ve already guessed, but I want to be fair to all right now!
So, if you’re ready for spoilers from the books and a look at Diana Gabaldon’s Daily Lines for “Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone” then get ready. This is a beautiful snippet from the ninth novel.
It’s no surprise that Brianna makes it to the past. The photos shared from Outlander Season 4 filming have leaked that “surprise” for those who haven’t read the books. However, she doesn’t just pop up, say hi, and return to her own time. Brianna and Roger make a life in the 18th century, where she gets to be with her mother and father.

- Outlander Season 7B: Will Chris Fulton return as Rob Cameron?
- Will Dottie be in Outlander Season 7B?
- 3 characters who definitely won’t return in Outlander Season 7B
In the recent Daily Lines from Diana Gabaldon, there’s more bonding between father and daughter. Jamie gives Brianna the most beautiful compliment and something that she’s never heard before. He tells her how much she looks like her mom.
That may be surprising to some, but as he points out, it’s not all about hair and eye color. Nor is it about height, as in the books Brianna is supposed to be tall like her father. Sometimes it’s in the looks people give and the way they care for their family. Jamie sees it in the way Brianna touches her children and is around Roger. She is just like Claire whenever Claire is in love.
This isn’t just a compliment for Brianna and an exquisite father-daughter moment. It also shows just how much Jamie pays attention to the looks Claire gives him and has around him. He knows his wife and his daughter inside and out.
