Outlander Season 3, Episode 12 ratings look back: A four-week high
Outlander Season 3, Episode 12 saw a four-week high when it came to the total audience. Here’s a look back at the ratings to celebrate an anniversary.
If you’re a little confused and remember me doing a look back at the ratings for the Outlander Season 3 finale last week, you are not wrong! I don’t know how I skipped a week (and I did it with Season 4’s post!). But better late than never, and I’m not here with the ratings look back for the penultimate episode of the episode.
Titled “The Bakra,” the episode brought us many familiar faces. It’s not all that surprising then that we saw a tick up in the audience and the demo. While some of the returning faces were kept a surprise, others weren’t. And we knew that during this episode, we’d finally find out what happened to Young Ian.

The episode also gave us a look at Jamaica in the 18th century. Claire and Jamie were reunited, and now they were working together to save their nephew. That wouldn’t be easy, especially with Claire wandering into a slave market.
So, a look back at the views? TV Series Finale gives us the Live + Same Day ratings, which only looks at the channel viewings. We don’t get to see the STARZ app figures unless STARZ decides to release them. However, usually, they are much higher.
The audience saw a four-week high, jumping up 7% to 1.509 million. It was the first time over 1.5 million in those four weeks, and would also be the last.
Meanwhile, the demo would see a three-week high, reaching 0.29 thanks to a 3% boost. It wouldn’t be the last upward tick the series would see, with the finale pulling in a stronger demo.
In the end, Outlander Season 3 would finish with an average of 1.512 million viewers and a 0.32 demo. Not only are we looking at The CW level ratings, but these figures were up 38% and 45% respectively compared to the previous season.
