With The Fall leaving Netflix, the list of shows to watch during Droughtlander needed to be changed. That means Reign reenters the list.

There are some excellent TV shows on Netflix. Many of them will help you get through Droughtlander. With The Fall leaving Netflix last month, we need another show to add to the list of 25 shows to watch if you love Outlander. Reign is the show to reenter the list.

I can tell you now that Reign isn’t going to be for everyone. This CW series certainly takes liberties with history, and if you don’t like that happening, you’ll find it hard to get through the pilot episode. It’s also a show that is aimed more towards the younger audience than Outlander‘s audience.

That’s not necessarily a bad thing. If you love the likes of The Tudors and The Spanish Princess, I get the feeling that you’ll enjoy this period drama. There are plenty of brilliant stories, some great character development, and characters to love to hate.

With four seasons, and most of them full-length, you’ll certainly have plenty of hours of television to get you through the rest of Droughtlander. Plus, this is a series that has some absolutely beautiful costumes, even if they’re not right for the period.
