Could Clan Lands podcast include a video component?
Could there be a video component to the Clan Lands podcast? We’d all love to see Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish on our screens together again, right?
Dougal MacKenzie may not have had much love for Jamie Fraser, but that doesn’t mean we don’t love seeing Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish on our screens together. Is it possible we’ll get to see that again with the Clan Lands podcast?
The duo released a short video to share where they are in the research for their upcoming podcast about all things Scottish. They were at Loch Ness for the last day of week two, which is the infamous home of Nessie. Did they see her? Well, they didn’t mention her but Heughan did say something that made my ears pick up.

Sam said he can’t wait for us to “see” Clan Lands. Considering the production is supposed to be a podcast, we shouldn’t be able to “see” anything. So, does this mean that there will be a video component to the production? Could we get short snippets on social media when it comes to the release of new episodes?
I could be reading into this a little too much. After all, it is a common phrase, especially when Sam Heughan is used to working with TV and movie content. He’s used to telling fans that he can’t wait for them to see what’s up next in Outlander or one of his movies.
What is exciting is that there seem to be many stories to tell. While the two are currently researching and learning a lot about the landscape, the history, the people, and more, there are clearly some friendly activities on the journey around Scotland. Graham McTavish mentions “near misses” and how exhausted he is after two weeks of traveling the country.
Hopefully, we’ll get to hear about some of this during the Clan Lands podcast. While it has to be about the topic, some personality and stories between the two and what they experienced certainly won’t go amiss.
