W Network continues to promote Outlander with the best reunions

While STARZ holds back on Outlander promotion during the off-season, W Network continues to promote the show to fans. The latest is with the best reunions.

Which reunions have been your favorite on Outlander? That’s something W Network wants to know in its recent promotion of the show.

While STARZ steps back on its promotion of the show during the off-season, W Network continues to offer support each week. It’s something the Canadian network knows the fans love, and shows the continued love for the series from the network itself. After all, the network did pick up the series after the initial licensing deal wasn’t renewed by Showcase.

In the latest promotion, it’s all about the best reunions. W Network has put together a short clip of the seven best reunions from the show so far, and they’re not all about Claire and Jamie. In fact, one of the best reunions has been Fergus and Claire seeing each other again after 20 years. We also can’t forget the Jamie and Lord John Grey reunion in Jamaica.

There is one that I don’t quite agree with. After all, it’s not a “reunion” but the first time the two characters are meeting. Yes, it’s about Jamie and Brianna meeting for the first time, something that the show’s EPs kept pointing out wasn’t a “reunion.”

This moment is a great one. I absolutely adore it as a moment in the fourth season, but it’s just not a reunion. If we were solely focusing on reunions then the moment between Claire and Brianna should be at the top of the list.

But I shouldn’t really complain. It’s not often that we get the networks promoting shows too much in the off-season, but W Network is a strong supporter of Sassenachs.

There are two reunions I wish could have made the list. The reunion on the beach between Claire and Jamie was a standout moment for me, especially after a bit of a rocky patch in Season 3. And then there was the reunion between Jamie and Murtagh in Season 4. As much as I loved Claire and Murtagh’s reunion, I think Jamie’s stood out more because of the mixed emotions as Jamie suddenly saw his godfather in front of him.
