Take a look at the cuties playing Jem in Outlander Season 5
We need anything Outlander Season 5 related to get through Droughtlander, right? How about a quick look at the cuties playing Jem?
We’re looking for any piece of information about Outlander Season 5 that we can get, right? Well, how about a look at the two cuties who will play Jem, Brianna and Roger’s son? We’ve got a wee sneak!
And yes, I say “cuties” plural. That’s because at the age Jem is, the production will need twins to play him. This is commonplace due to child labor laws. It’s either that or we barely get to see Jem at all—a little like Meredith’s kids constantly somewhere in their rooms in Grey’s Anatomy.

The two cuties are Louis and Logan Stevenson, according to I Love Outlander on Facebook. The photo shows off their beautiful red hair, which certainly gives them the look of the Fraser clan.
That will likely mean the twins we saw last month are the ones playing Germain, Fergus and Marsali’s son. This is something I speculated, especially based on the hair color that was the spit of Lauren Lyle’s coloring.
There’s isn’t anything else about the twins. We don’t even know just how much time we’ll get to see them. After all, we’ll likely start off not long after the Season 4 finale, with Brianna and Roger attempting to find a place together as a family unit. Jem is just a baby, whereas these twins are toddlers. “The Fiery Cross” does cover a couple of years and picks up slightly later than the Season 4 finale finished (because there are chapters from “Drums of Autumn” missed out).
