When can we expect the first Outlander Season 5 teaser?
Outlander Season 5 filming is still ongoing but a teaser trailer could be made soon. Just when can we expect our first real look at the upcoming season?
We now know that Outlander Season 5 won’t premiere until early 2020. While this does mean a long Droughtlander, it could give us an idea of when to expect the first Season 5 teaser, a real look at the upcoming season.
When it came to Season 4, we got the first-look teaser in July 2018. This was the first of the things to come, using footage from various parts of the whole season. Some of the most notable moments were from Episodes 1, 2, and even 6. With the November release date for the fourth season, it does give us an idea of when to expect something this season.

If we work with the earliest Season 5 will premiere, around February 2020, then we’re looking at October 2019 for the first trailer. It could even be November if the show doesn’t return until March 2020! That feels like a long way off, but there is some good news. The show will be closer to the end of filming, so there will possibly be shots from at least the first half of the season.
However, that doesn’t mean this will be the first look at the season. It’s highly possible that a sneak peek will be shared first. There was a 20-second tease of Season 4 at the end of the third episode and then a slightly longer one in January 2018. It’s possible that we could get a tease of Season 5 sometime soon.
We know that the show has finished the first few episodes of filming. It is possible to put just one scene together from the very start to help us get through this long Droughtlander.
