In Outlander Season 1, Episode 13, life at Lallybroch is turned on its head. Here are my five thoughts while rewatching the episode.
Life at Lallybroch couldn’t stay quiet for too long, could it? Naturally, something would have to happen that would separate Claire and Jamie. Outlander Season 1, Episode 13 saw The Watch turn up and cause some trouble.

While rewatching the episode recently, there were a few thoughts I had. Here’s a look at the five main thoughts with some only because I know what happens next.
5. There are so many familiar faces
The first thing that came to mind was how many familiar faces there were. On my first ever watch, I was taking in the storyline and looking for clues as to what would happen next. I’d immediately recognized Douglas Henshall as a Shetland fan but I didn’t notice the others.
On the rewatch, I realized there were more familiar faces. Douglas Russell and Francis Magee are both well known in TV shows, especially when it comes to British ones. It always makes me smile when I see familiar faces pop up on TV shows and it’s clear that many British actors run in some of the same circles.
