Outlander Season 5 teaser coming before The Spanish Princess
Are you ready for a first look at Outlander Season 5? A teaser is coming but you’ll need to watch STARZ’s The Spanish Princess.
If you’re still on the fence about watching the upcoming STARZ Original, The Spanish Princess, then this may change your mind. An Outlander Season 5 teaser is coming. Yes, this is going to be your first look at what to expect.
As you should know by now, filming for the fifth season of Claire and Jamie’s story began in April. Now it’s time to put the first clip together to give you a look at what to expect. It will probably only be a couple of minutes long maximum, but it’s better than nothing three months into Droughtlander, right? Just be aware that it could be only about 20 seconds long, which was the length of the first Outlander Season 4 teaser after the third season finale.

We know Claire and Jamie will feature in the clip. Would the production be ridiculous enough not to include them? The question is whether any of the others will appear. Brianna and Roger are taking more of a focus in the show now, so it would make sense to bring them into the clip. Maybe even their son, especially as life has now moved onto Fraser’s Ridge.
The announcement about the teaser included Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin in their new costumes for life on Fraser’s Ridge. Could it be a hint that they will definitely be in the teaser? I will note that it’s a tease into the production, so I’m not sure if that means a scene teaser or a behind-the-scenes teaser. We’ll have to wait and see!

The teaser is going to air on Sunday night at about 8/7c. This is when the new series is scheduled to premiere. You may want to tune in a few minutes earlier to make sure you don’t miss it.
This is certainly going to be marketing to get more people to watch The Spanish Princess. And it makes sense to put an Outlander Season 5 teaser before the period drama. After all, both shows are set in the past and are both based on book adaptations.
If you’re looking for something to watch during Droughtlander, I do highly recommend The Spanish Princess, based on my enjoyment of its predecessors The White Queen and The White Princess. This new Original is a followup to the previous shows.
