Diana Gabaldon is busy finishing up the writing and then doing through the editing of Outlander Book 9. Part of the process is titling the chapters. She’s shared more titles for Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapters.

Diana Gabaldon is currently busy working on Outlander Book 9. Titled “Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone,” she recently shared the titles for the first seven chapters. Well, now it’s time to get an insight into more of the novel, as she shared the titles for the next seven chapters.

All the chapters are from the second section of the book, which follows the format of all her previous novels. One of the titles may be a little spoilery if you’ve been following the Daily Lines posts or if you’re not caught up on the stories. However, Gabaldon tries not to share major spoilers in her Daily Lines for “Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone.”

More from Spoilers

The only details shared are the titles for Chapters 8 to 14. Gabaldon hasn’t shared where any of the snippets from her Daily Lines fit, but it could be possible to take some guesses.

One of my guesses is Chapter 12, which is titled “The Hound of Heaven.” During the Daily Lines posts, there are talks of Rollo, who passed away from old age in Outlander Book 8. Rollo was a good half-dog/half-wolf, always protective of his masters, especially Young Ian. There is a discussion about whether dogs go to Heaven, which is something that Roger MacKenzie has clearly thought about.

Check out all the titles for the ninth book in the series.

You can read the seven chapter titles from “Section II: No Law West of the Pecos” on Gabaldon’s blog.

This is a novel that will see the American Revolutionary War in full swing based on some of the Daily Lines and the time period. It’s been brewing since the fourth book when the Frasers found themselves in the New World. Just how will everyone deal with the various battles coming up?
