Did Fergus and Marsali make it to the Ridge in Outlander Season 4?
The last we saw of Fergus and Marsali, they were heading out of Wilmington to Fraser’s Ridge in Outlander Season 4. Did they make it there?
Outlander Season 4 last showed Marsali and Fergus heading to Fraser’s Ridge. It was time to leave Wilmington and to a place they were both highly valued — and to a place away from those looking for anyone involved in freeing Murtagh. The question that the Outlander EPs have raised is whether the two got there.
We all assume they did. After all, we saw Murtagh at River Run, which suggests that everyone got out of Wilmington. Murtagh never mentioned anything about Fergus and Marsali to Brianna, suggesting again that the two managed to make it out. However, I assume that Murtagh was dropped off first and the young couple with their son headed to Fraser’s Ridge after.

There would have been a journey through the woods. They would have come across the Native tribes in the local area and may have even come across John Quincy Myers. We’d already seen the journey for Claire and Jamie, but they were two adults alone without a cart. Fergus and Marsali had a baby with them.
It doesn’t sound like this is a journey we’ll get to see through the bonus features on the Season 4 DVD but it would be fun to see it. Maybe we can hear about it during Outlander Season 5. Considering the two make it to the Ridge in the books, it wouldn’t make sense for them not to be there in the fifth season.
