Jocasta sets up a dinner for Brianna to find a husband in Outlander Season 4, Episode 11. Meanwhile, Claire, Jamie, and Young Ian find a body.
Outlander Season 4, Episode 11 brought three different storylines into focus. As Jocasta set up a dinner to help find Brianna a husband, Claire, Jamie, and Young went in search of Roger. Meanwhile, Murtagh and Fergus found Stephen Bonnet.
To kick start the episode, we were with Roger, who turned on a shower and rinsed off the horrors that had happened in the last episode. At least, that’s what it seemed like. Just as we started to think he’d stepped through the stones, we got a flash of a Mohawk warrior. Everything was a dream and Roger had been captured again by the tribe.
We finished with him reaching the Mohawk village, where he was put through the gauntlet. Get to the end and he would be adopted into the tribe.
While that happened, here’s everything else that went on throughout the episode.

Claire, Jamie, and Young Ian found a body
For the Frasers and Young Ian, it was about the search for Roger. After checking with the Cherokee to find out where the Mohawk came from, the three headed north. It was clear tensions were high, but Claire eventually admits that she’s not angry at Jamie.
Before the two can talk, they come across a body thanks to Rollo literally bringing a bone. Young Ian recognizes the clothing, despite the body now being just a skeleton. It was the prisoner with Roger and now they worry that Roger’s body is somewhere around. When they can’t find anything, they decide to bury the remains and head back on road to find Roger.
That night, Claire admits to Jamie she’s angry at the world and, especially, at Bonnet. For those who hated (like me) that she kept the secret from Jamie about Bonnet raping Brianna, Claire explained why she did it. When Claire promised no lies, there was nobody else in her life she loved more than Jamie. Now she has Brianna and she needs to offer confidentiality to her daughter.
I get that, I do. However, I still don’t like that Brianna asked Claire to keep the secret. Regardless, it happened and Claire realized that the secret played a part in Roger being sold to the Mohawks.
Jamie also admits that he’s upset but not at Claire. He doesn’t think Brianna needs him and he’s jealous of Frank. This isn’t the first time he’s felt this way but he finds it ridiculous that he’s jealous of a dead man.
It’s time for Claire to let Jamie know that Brianna is a lot like him. Both say things in anger that they don’t mean. While she knows Jamie didn’t mean his words, she also knows Brianna didn’t mean hers. And they finish off back on the same page, ready to set off in the morning to continue their journey to find Roger.
