There’s a time jump in Outlander Season 4, Episode 8, as Marsali and Fergus return in the released images.
STARZ has released official images for Outlander Season 4, Episode 8. There’s going to be a time jump for the Fraser’s storyline, which makes sense to catch up with Brianna and Roger’s storyline. Here’s a look at what we can expect in image form.
Fergus and Marsali return in this week’s episode, titled “Wilmington.” Instead of a baby bump, there’s now a baby and Claire looks ecstatic to have one in the house. While she may not be Marsali’s mother, she certainly looks to be the doting grandmother. Well, since she is Fergus’ adopted mother, she is a grandmother.
This time jump certainly makes sense. Most of the 18th-century storyline has been set around 1767-1768. If Claire, Brianna, and Roger are traveling back 202 years, that means Brianna and Roger stepped through the stones in 1769, since they traveled from 1971.

There are some sweet episodes of the whole family together. The only person missing is Young Ian, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s not in the episode. However, this does look like it’s going to be the Governor’s Ball, which could mean that the legendary George Washington is going to show up. Will that be why Claire and Jamie have matching shocked expressions?

And we will get to see more of Brianna and Roger in the episode. There’s already a sneak peek out that Town & Country magazine has shared of the two finally finding each other. Of course, that leads to the question of why Roger is even in the past and why Brianna never told him everything before she left.
