How Brianna has an excellent mix of all three of her parents on Outlander

Outlander’s Brianna has three parents: two biological and an adopted parent. She’s got a mixture of all three and here’s how.

Outlander’s Brianna Randall Fraser is one lucky lady. She has three parents who love her dearly, two biological and an adopted parent. And she’s gained personality traits from all three, even without ever meeting one.

When it comes to Frank, it’s easy to see some of the traits and interests she’s gained. She loves history and learned a number of skills from him. Brianna had grown up with Frank the most, and the things she’s learned from him will come in handy when it comes to being in the past.

Then there’s Claire, who she’s certainly inherited some of her stubbornness from. While Frasers are known for their stubbornness, Beauchamps must be, too. Brianna has also become an independent young woman thanks to her time with Claire. After all, Claire has shown that you can gain something you want if you try and fight hard enough for it.

Finally, there’s Jamie. While Brianna has never met Jamie, she has many of his personality traits. The extra elements of stubbornness are going to come from him and, just by looks, you can see Jamie in her. But then there are her engineering skills. Jamie may not know engineering in the way it’s taught in the 20th century, but he does have some engineering skills.

Brianna will also be able to deal with a tight spot like Jamie, but not as well as him. She’s inherited Claire’s inability to tell a lie, but she does keep things to her chest in the way Frank did. Brianna is canny but honest and that could be help and hindrance in the past.
