Outlander Season 4, Episode 5 sneak peek: What’s the deal with Jamie’s dream?

In a sneak peek for Outlander Season 4, Episode 5, Jamie has a special dream. What does it mean for him and the future of the series?

There are many people who have already watched the episode, but many others who definitely haven’t. Now there’s a sneak peek for Outlander Season 4, Episode 5 for those who are still waiting until 8/7c to watch it. Jamie has an extra special dream that could be something more.

The sneak peek comes from W Network, which is the Canadian channel that airs the series at the same time as STARZ live. We get a look at Jamie and Claire discussing Jamie’s dream, which could actually be some sort of premonition or out of body experience.

Fans of the books will know exactly what this means. However, like those who wait until 8/7c, there are many of you who haven’t read the books yet. So, I’m treating this with absolutely no book spoilers at all.

During the sneak peek, Jamie asks Claire about Brianna and a birthmark. This is something that Claire has never mentioned before, at least, not that she can remember. It turns out Jamie has seen Brianna in a dream. Check out the full clip below.

What does it mean? Well, there is something special about the Frasers. You may remember in Outlander Season 3, Jenny mentioned that she’d seen Claire at Jamie and Laoghaire’s wedding. Then there’s the time in the Season 3 finale when Brianna’s soul was most definitely in Margaret Campbell as she spoke to Jamie and Claire.

Jamie did likely dream of Brianna and it continues this special element to the Frasers. Hey, it could connect to how Jamie was in Inverness in the 1940s looking up at Claire through the window.
