The Outlander Season 4 premiere had some loving and beautiful moments. It was also filled with drama and heartbreak at the end. Here are the best moments from the episode.
The Outlander Season 4 premiere brought mixed emotions and I’m definitely not talking about the song choice or the book change at the end. There was romance and heat, love and happiness, and heartbreak and drama. This was an episode that made you need plenty of tissues.
Some moments stood out more than others. With the help of TV Time, I’ve put together the best moments from the premiere episode, titled “America the Beautiful.” There’s truth in Jamie’s statement: A dream for some is a nightmare for others.

Let’s be honest, we needed this moment in the episode. Outlander Season 3 didn’t have many. We got the turtle soup scene and that night in “A. Malcolm,” but that was really about it in terms of love, intimacy, and adoration.
The Outlander Season 4 premiere gave us a steamy moment in the woods. Claire and Jamie were able to connect to each other in a way they’d struggled to after Claire’s return through the stones. At first, it looked like this scene was going to be misplaced so soon after burying Hayes’ body, but it was clear that the physical intimacy was a necessary part of Jamie’s healing after burying his friend.
And it was hot. There’s no doubt about that. And the TV Time users agree.
