The episodes titles for Outlander Season 4, Episodes 4-6 may have been released. If these are right, what could they mean for the individual episodes?

Outlander Season 4 will be here before you know it. The cast and EPs will be getting ready for PaleyFest NY and New York Comic-Con this weekend, where we’ll hopefully get more updates about the season. Right now, we may have the episode titles for Outlander Season 4, Episodes 4-6.

The Outlander Print Shop group on Facebook shared an image with the episode titles, writers, and directors of each of the episodes. Titles of the episodes sometimes give a lot away and it looks like some of these do.

I’ve already looked at the titles for episodes 1-2 and the title for Episode 3. Here are the potential titles for Episodes 4-6:

  • Episode 4: Common Ground
  • Episode 5: Savages
  • Episode 6: Blood of My Blood

I will note that there will be spoilers in this post from the book titled “Drums of Autumn.”

Episode 4: Everyone in the same place?

More from Spoilers

My theory about the fourth episode is that this will be the point where everyone is in the same place, where they’re on “common ground.” It could just be linked to Brianna finding her parents, but I suspect that Roger is also included in this.

This would certainly work with the book storyline, which eventually sees everyone in the same country and in the same time period. Around Episode 4 of other seasons we’ve seen a shift in the story, moving onto the bigger picture, so it makes sense that it would all happen at this point.

Episode 5: Savages

Those who know what happens to Roger may get a pit in their stomach at this point in the story. However, this could also be an important storyline for Claire and fans of Tantoo Cardinal. The title “Savages” feels like it connects to the Natives in the area.

During “Drums of Autumn,” there’s an outbreak of measles in the area and the Native Americans are blamed for this. It leads to some atrocious acts, where it’s certainly the Colonists that become the “savages.” I get the feeling this will connect to this and maybe Roger’s storyline where he ends up with the Natives due to Jamie’s actions.

Episode 6: Blood of My Blood

This title will mean a lot to the fans of “The Wedding.” It’s part of the vow Claire and Jamie make to each other. “Ye are blood of my blood, bone of my bone…” This could link to that, but not for Claire and Jamie.

It’s possible that this is another Brianna and Roger storyline coming out in the title. Brianna shares that she and Roger were handfasted, which is when the vow would be said. It’s as good as a marriage for a year in the time period, so connects beautifully to “The Wedding.”
