W Network finally confirms Canadian Outlander Season 4 premiere date
While fans in the U.S. had their Outlander Season 4 premiere date confirmed last month, Canadian fans have had to wait a little longer.
U.S. fans got confirmation of their premiere date last month, after an accidental release of a promo with the date in it. It’s taken longer for a Canadian Outlander Season 4 premiere date to be shared, but W Network has finally confirmed the date.
The W Network will air Outlander Season 4, as they did Season 3. Previously the show was on Showtime Canada. There was hope that W Network would stick with the U.S. date, as has previously happened.

That’s just the case. Outlander Season 4 will premiere in Canada on Nov. 4 just like in the United States. This tends to be the case for a lot of shows coming north of the border, allowing all fans in North America to get shows at the same time. It was just annoying for many waiting for the actual release date.
This may change in the future, but it will depend on the licensing agreement. Bell Media and STARZ are currently working on an agreement to bring STARZ to Canada. This would allow Canadian fans access to the STARZ app and everything that comes with it, similar to the agreement UK, Germany, and Australian fans now have through Amazon Prime and Stan.

Outlander Season 4 will see Claire and Jamie in the New World, attempting to make a home and build their family. Meanwhile, Roger and Brianna are in their present day, when they come across something that could encourage them to head to the past. The season is based on “Drums of Autumn,” although it sounds like there will be some timeline shifts–the events are there but not in the order you would expect.
