Sam Heughan shared his thoughts on the Outlander Season 4 finale and they’re positive. In fact, this could be the ‘strongest finale’ yet.

While Outlander wasn’t at SDCC 2018, that doesn’t mean there’s been no news of the series at all. Sam Heughan talked to Entertainment Tonight about the upcoming season, according to The Express. He’d only recently finished filming but shared a little about what’s to come in the finale. He also shared that the Outlander Season 4 finale is the “strongest” yet.

Heughan also shared that the season as a whole is strong. This only makes fans more excited, as “Drums of Autumn” is one of the best books in the whole novel series by Diana Gabaldon. It’s packed with drama, love, intensity, passion, fear, and horror.

Knowing the finale is going to be the strongest has certainly piqued my interest more. The finales tend to be on point. I even enjoyed the Season 3 finale, wrapping up the Jamaica storyline, getting to Young Ian, and including the Mr. Willoughby/Margaret Campbell storyline. And, of course, I can’t forget the epic scene between Lord John Grey and Lieutenant/Acting Captain Leonard.

Outlander Season 4’s finale is certainly likely to have a different feel to previous ones. In fact, the whole season will likely feel very different. We’re into a new place and period. This is pre-Revolutionary War Colonies. The season is going to set up the tension that leads to the Revolutionary War. It’s a dangerous place and time for all, especially for the women.

Plus, we’ll finally get to see a lot of fan favorites in the same time and place. We know Brianna is going to go to the past, but there are others who will be there with Jamie and Claire for the finale. Families are growing, people have found homes, and honor and love are constant discussions. It certainly does sound like the Outlander Season 4 finale will be the “strongest” yet.
