Outlander Season 4: The moment of Roger as a dad we’re excited to see
There are many exciting moments coming in Outlander Season 4. As it’s Father’s Day tomorrow, there’s a special moment of Roger as a dad that better be in the season!
If the title doesn’t give it away, there are spoilers from “Drums of Autumn” in this. The storyline should come up in Outlander Season 4, as long as the season is going to stick to the whole book.
Outlander should see Roger become a husband and a father in the fourth season. This is going to be an exciting moment, as we get to see a side to Roger that “Drums of Autumn” readers hoped to see but couldn’t guarantee it. This is a moment that will happen towards the end of the season and maybe scenes that are currently being filmed now.

After traveling through the stones, Brianna has a rough go at life. While she finds her parents, it’s at a cost. While she does lose her virginity to Roger, she’s later raped by Stephen Bonnet and left with some serious questions and fears.
However, Brianna learns that she’s pregnant and is sure that it can’t be Roger’s. When it comes to it and Roger is given the chance to accept the child or not, he does it in one of the most beautiful ways. Roger asks for Jamie to cut his hand, allowing him to dip his finger in the blood and make a blood oath on the child. Regardless of paternity, Roger makes it clear that he claims paternity.
There’s a sort of mirror for Roger and Brianna in this moment. Claire returned to Frank with another man’s child and Frank raised Brianna as his own. Roger was raised by his great-uncle, Reverend Wakefield, after the deaths of his parents. Now, Roger could potentially raise another man’s child, but makes it clear that he believes this child to be his.
While it’s not all rainbows and unicorns, in this moment Roger shows his true colors and hopefully, they’ll be part of Outlander Season 4.
