7 most anticipated moments between Jamie and Brianna in Outlander Season 4
Outlander Season 4 will bring us plenty of Jamie and Brianna moments once she makes it to the past. In honor of Father’s Day this weekend, here are the most anticipated moments from Drums of Autumn between the two.
It shouldn’t need to be said, but there are spoilers in this post if you’ve not read “Drums of Autumn,” which Outlander Season 4 is based on.
Outlander Season 4 is going to bring up Brianna and Jamie meeting for the first time. While that first meeting is certainly something we’re looking forward to, there are many other moments of Jamie being a father to Brianna. Some of the moments are positive and others can have you screaming at the two characters—pushed together with one completely out of her own time. This causes problems on many accounts, especially considering Brianna is from the 70s.
In celebration of Father’s Day, it’s time to look at the most highly anticipated moments between Jamie and Brianna in the fourth season. Most of these are the moments that had fans smiling and cheering, as the characters bonded and Brianna found herself with another father in her life.

This is something that fans have pulled across from the novels into fan fiction, both using a young Brianna or a young Faith to give Claire and Jamie the life they always wanted. However, it’s also one of the most highly anticipated moments between Jamie and Brianna in Outlander Season 4.
When Jamie and Brianna first come across each other, Brianna struggles with what to call him. She called Frank “Daddy” and “Father” just seems too formal. She wants this man in her life as a second dad—not someone to replace the man that had been her dad and loved her as his own when she was growing up.
Jamie doesn’t try to replace Frank. Instead, he tells her to call him “Da” and it’s just perfect.
