Sam Heughan shares first headshot and it’s adorable
After being so used to seeing the man we know as Jamie Fraser, Sam Heughan’s headshot is just darn adorable.
Actors around the world have shared their first headshots on social media and Sam Heughan joined in with the fun. It instantly sent Outlander fans into a frenzy, as they commented about how baby-faced he looked. And that is certainly the case! He is darn adorable.
The #FirstHeadshots started trending for #FlashbackFriday. Every day gets a label and Fridays is all about looking back at past events. Sometimes it’s about works that have meant the world and other times it’s just about fun moments. This week it was all about that first headshot. A variety of actors, models, and authors took part in the fun, including our own Jamie Fraser.

Posting a black and white photo on Instagram, he captioned it with “I lied, here’s the earliest I could find.” There may be more out there but it’s early enough to see how baby-faced he was before landing Outlander (and even in the first season he had that baby-faced appearance at times).
Fans instantly responded with praise and “awws” because he is darn adorable.
All this comes as Heughan is getting ready for his Stirling Marathon tomorrow. This will be the first of two in two months, which he set as his Peak Challenge earlier this year. The marathon takes place during a weekend break from filming.

He’s not shared his filming schedule for Monday, but it can’t be as crazy as Caitriona Balfe having to catch a flight the night after running the London Marathon to film early in the morning the next day!
