What to watch on Starz in February 2018 to get you through Droughtlander
Like Netflix, Starz is bringing old and new shows and movies to its service to get you through Droughtlander.
Starz is bringing more to its service in February 2018, helping you get through Droughtlander. There’s a mixture of old and new, shows and movies to give you something to watch throughout the month. Whether you love comedy, action, horror or even thriller, there will definitely be something that pulls you in. While nothing is quite like Outlander, there’s at least ways to bide the time until your favorite show is back.
February 1 sees horror, thriller and comedy
The first of the month is when the majority of titles will drop. You’ll have a mixture of the genres. For those who adore horror, Child’s Play 2 and 3 will both be available on Starz. If you prefer the slightly more eye-rolling horrors, Halloween H20: 20 Years Later and Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers will also appear on the service.

Prefer thrillers and action movies? Don’t miss out on Girl, Interrupted and Mission: Impossible 2. Of course, when it comes to comedy and family movies, you’ll get A Knight’s Tale, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and Save the Last Dance 2.
As for TV shows, all 26 episode of Atomic Betty Season 1 will be available (perfect for the kids and those who grew up with it), eight episodes of World Without End Season 1 and the two seasons of Hopalong Cassidy.
February 9 onwards
The rest of the month will see a scattering of old movies, along with original programming. Action thriller fans will get to catch the two sequels of Death Race, while romance fans will get Dear John available from February 9. Horror fans will also get Dracula 2000.
February 10 sees Spider-Man: Homecoming drop on Starz. This is the latest Spider-Man movie, released in 2017, starring Tom Holland in the role. He first appeared as the titular character in Captain America: Civil War and has a second movie coming out soon.
1994’s The Shadow will drop on February 23, along with Opportunity Knocks, Frenchie, and Flesh + Blood. Finally, Legion, a movie about archangels, is coming on February 25.
Original programming on Starz
If you’re more into the original programming, like Outlander, you may want to catch Counterpart. The series airs on Sunday nights. The series premiere has already aired and is currently available on-demand, with the second episode airing on Sunday. You’ll be able to watch Episode 3 on February 4 and then catch new episodes each week.
The series is about a man in the CIA, who learns there is a door to a parallel world. There’s only one person he can trust: himself.
Ash vs. Evil Dead returns on February 25 with its Season 3 premiere. The series is a spin-off of the original Evil Dead trilogy, with original creator Sam Raimi at the helm, along with Ivan Raimi and Tom Spezialy. The first two seasons are currently available on-demand, so there’s time to catch up if you were a fan of the original.
