Outlander’s Uncharted was full of beautiful and funny lines, but here’s a look at the best.

There have been humorous and sometimes absolutely hilarious moments in Outlander season 3. Episode 11, “Uncharted,” was definitely no different. However, this episode also had some of the best lines. Before getting into the next episode, it’s time to look back at the best lines from the episode.

Coco mustn’t stare. It’s rude! Yes, she’s a pretty lady.

Father Fogden certainly had some of the best lines. He was kind and caring, but definitely a little loco. That was evident the moment he started talking to his friend the coconut! He started shouting at someone called Coco, before picking up the shell from one of his shelves. The coconut had become a friend and confidant of sorts, clearly showing the way grief and loneliness had played on him over the years.

However, out of all the lines, this was one of his best. Not only did he tell Coco not to stare, but also admitted that Claire was pretty. There would have been an instant feeling of fear, had he not then admitted that Claire wasn’t as pretty as the love of his life.

Mac Dubh’s wife turns up in the most unlikely of places, – does she no?

The moment that all fans had to chuckle. Hayes and Leslie discuss the fact that Claire just drops out of the sky yet again. Who would have thought she’d just happen to be on the same beach that they were stranded on after their wreck?

Not only is this amusing because of Outlander and Claire’s time travel, but because of all shows that have this sort of storyline. The main characters just happen to be in the same spot at the same time. It’s written off as coincidence and for the sake of the story, but there are sometimes eye-rolling moments.

Well, I will be very careful And Father Fogden will take very good care of me, as well.

Claire realizes that if she’s to escape Father Fogden’s innocent clutches, she needs to think on his level. This means grabbing Coco and pretending that she honors Coco’s thoughts and opinions. Maybe it would have worked had a Chinaman not eaten the beloved Arabella.

Maybe you’re no the devil after all.

Marsali wants to avoid pregnancy, but not because she never wants a child. She wants what most newlyweds want; to enjoy her time with her husband. The best thing about this line is the way that it brings Claire and Marsali together. Claire becomes a confidant and someone to look up to for Marsali, just what the young girl needs.

She she speaks her mind. One of the many things I love about her.

While many people would likely expect Father Fogden and his talk of Fergus’ appendage coming up, it’s Fergus’ line about why he loves Marsali that’s the best part of this element in the scene. Claire has clearly rubbed off on Fergus. He’s seen how strong women can be, emotionally and mentally. He wants his wife to be just the same and adores Marsali because of it.

Fergus. His name is Fergus Claudel Fraser.

But yes, this moment just had to come up. The line was perfect. Nothing more needed to be said. Jamie just gave Fergus his full name and the looks between father and son (in fact, proud parents and son) did the rest. There was also a beautiful smile from Marsali, as she saw the heart in her stepfather come out. Best of all, Claire’s smile was beautiful. She wasn’t shocked that Jamie would give his name to Fergus. The man she married was back and her family was started to become whole again.

This must be what it’s like making love in hell. Mm! – Ohh! – With a burning she-devil.

The turtle soup scene was something many Outlander fans were waiting for, so it isn’t surprising a line from the scene has come up. This is the line that stands out the most. Jamie wants to make sure Claire is feeling her full strength, but just can’t help himself with her advances.

The line also perfectly links with one of Marsali’s. She has viewed Claire as the devil because of her mother, and now Jamie brings up the same celestial being.
