There are just two episodes left and a lot more to tell from Voyager. Here are the big takeaways from the Outlander promo and synopsis for season 3, episode 12.

How can everything possibly fit into the last two episodes of Outlander season 3? That’s the big question from many fans, but not the thing to focus on right now. It’s time to delve into the promo and synopsis of episode 12 to figure out what will happen next. Here are the biggest takeaways from both.

The Artemis will finally reach Jamaica

The Artemis set sail for Jamaica in episode 9 and it’s taken until episode 12 for them to finally get there. While this was needed for some of the stories to tell on the Porpoise and at Saint Domingue, there are just two episodes left for the Jamaica storyline. The Frasers will need to deal with clearing Jamie’s name, going up against Captain Leonard again, and the governor’s ball.

More from Spoilers

The governor’s ball will bring more danger, which moves us onto the next takeaway.

A former frenemy will return

“Voyager” fans already know who the frenemy is, but Outlander show fans won’t be too certain just yet. The synopsis tells of a former adversary turning back up, and this is someone that fans haven’t seen since season 1. The frenemy also links to Young Ian’s storyline and the caves that were mentioned by the “seer” earlier in season 3.

Young Ian’s storyline to be told

After weeks of following Claire and Jamie, the series will delve into Young Ian. His storyline of his time on the Portuguese ship will be told. Fans will also get to see him stuck in the caves, which will link back to the bones and the frenemy storyline for Claire and Jamie.

Everything is coming to a head in the last two episodes and it looks like there will be a lot to tell in just episode 12 alone. Will there be enough time for all this?

Old allies will return

The brother and sister from Edinburgh are in the trailer, but the synopsis saying “old allies” will return to the next episode. There are plenty of theories circulating, with one expectation. The Governor of Jamaica is someone at least one Fraser already knows, so just what will that mean for Claire and Jamie?

It’s worth noting that Mr. Willoughby can’t be seen in the trailer. Will the series go the way of the books or will Mr. Willoughby’s storyline change for the better?

Check out the trailer and synopsis below:

"The Artemis finally reaches Jamaica, bringing Jamie and Claire much closer to their goal. During a ball on the island, the Frasers encounter old allies, as well as former adversaries who threaten to derail their mission."
