Why Brianna and Roger Will NOT be in ‘Outlander’ Season 2
The interwebs and Outlander fan sites have been all a-buzz about the Brianna Randall-MacKenzie and Roger Mac castings for Season 2, but I’m here to tell you- sorry, not sorry- that neither Brianna or Roger are going to make it into Season 2.

Before you try to burn me at the stake, let me explain.
Brianna Randall MacKenzie and Roger Mac and all of the other 20th century characters are going to be in the story. They may even make an *appearance* in Season 2. They just aren’t going to be the focus, or even prominent.
I’m JUST as upset about this as you are, but I’m afraid I’ve formulated my Season 2 prediction and I’m sticking to it. It pains me to say it aloud… however, the evidence is stacking up and it’s against us. It’s a big ole stack of door-stopper Outlander novels and it’s gonna tip over and squish us soon.
Fear not. We’ll make it through this together.
You’re probably wondering what evidence exactly points to the Outlander Season 2 sans Brianna and Roger. I’m gonna tell ya. Just… you know, read through it all before you storm after me with your pitchforks.
