There’s a murderer on the Ridge, but that doesn’t seem to be the biggest scandal. Here are the questions that came after Outlander Season 6, Episode 7.

Can you believe that we’re heading into the Outlander Season 6 finale this week? There are still some major questions from the season that need to be answered, but the latest episode did nothing to help with those answers.

In fact, the latest episode brought us another scandal. Lizzie is pregnant, and she has no idea who the father is. It’s only one of two guys, and they just happen to be identical twins. Oh the gossip!

It’s time to look back over the episode at the biggest questions that arose from the episode. Here are our five biggest.

5 big questions after Outlander Season 6, Episode 7

1. Has Tom figured things out about Malva?

During the funeral, Allan Christie refused to allow Jamie to carry Malva’s coffin out of the church. Ian took the fourth corner. However, that meant the baby was left behind. When Claire rushed over to carry the baby out, Allan reacted way too strongly just for a grieving brother.

Did you see Tom’s expressions with the way Allan reacted? Has he figured out that Malva wasn’t lying about her innocence being stolen by someone she trusted? It just wasn’t Jamie…

2. What will Jamie do about Lizzie now?

Oh, Lizzie certainly got herself in a mess. She doesn’t see why it should be a mess, though. She and the twins aren’t hurting anyone by being together, but that’s not the way the people of the Ridge will see it.

Now Lizzie has managed to handfast herself to both twins. What will Jamie do about that? Will he find a way to make the polyamorous relationship work, or will one of the Beardsley twins actually be banished from the Ridge?

3. Are Ian and Jamie good replacements for Perry Mason?

Jamie and Ian will still need to figure out who killed Malva. This is a much bigger issue with Richard Brown coming to arrest Claire. They’ll need to get in touch with their inner Perry Mason.

Will the two be able to get to the bottom of it all? It may all be left to Young Ian. It looks like Jamie is going with Claire to ensure her safety while she’s with Richard Brown’s Committee of “Safety.”

4. Will Bree and Roger get back in time for the birth?

Bree and Roger are heading out to Edenton so Roger can be ordained as a minister. This is a great moment in Roger’s character development, and something this entire season has built up to. Roger says that they’ll be back in time for the birth of their second child.

Will that be the case, though? Will they end up sending a letter to say that the baby has been born? Hopefully, Mandy’s birth will work out the way that it does in the book.

5. Who called for Richard Brown?

Richard turned up at the end of the episode. It’s clear that someone had to have called him in to arrest Claire, so who did it?

It would seem that Tom did it. After all, he’s the one who mentioned Richard a while back. Yet Tom seems to have seen something in Allan’s reaction and doesn’t seem to believe all that much that Claire did kill Malva. So, was it someone else instead? Maybe Allan sent for them to keep himself protected.
