Lizzie certainly knows how to make things go from bad to worse, bless her. She’s pregnant in Outlander, but who’s the father?
If you thought the biggest scandal during Outlander Season 6, Episode 7 was going to be Malva’s murder, you’d be mistaken. There was another scandal to hit the Ridge, although this one didn’t quite do the rounds around the fisherfolk.
It turns out that young Lizzie is pregnant. It was her who knocked on Claire’s door at the end of the previous episode and not Malva. That was when she was coming to tell Claire the truth, and then everything happened with Malva.
Of course, Claire and Jamie had one question. Who did Lizzie sleep with? Who got her pregnant?

It turns out that Lizzie doesn’t quite know who the father is. It’s one of two men on the Ridge.

Yes, the Beardsley twins, but they didn’t force themselves on Lizzie. In a private conversation with Claire, who is worried that Lizzie was forced or coerced, Lizzie shares that she willingly slept with both of them. They all love each other, and Lizzie shares that she doesn’t know which of the two fathered her child.
Jamie and Claire aren’t happy about the situation. It also doesn’t help that Lizzie isn’t willing to choose one twin to marry over the other. She wants to live with both of them, but that would be a scandal at the Ridge.
Yes, this is a storyline directly from the books. Lizzie gets into this situation there, and eventually, the three of them get to have their unconventional family. However, there is a bit of a way to go before that. And no, there’s never a way to tell which twin fathers any of Lizzie’s children with them, including this first one!
